Hours
Butter is open for business Wednesday through Saturday
from 6PM - 2AM, and Sundays for Singin' Sundays Karaoke from 8pm - 2am (Karaoke starts at 9), with the occasional Tuesday
thrown in for the fun of it. We proudly serve food
during all hours of operation, at least whenever our chef shows up! Payment
We accept VISA, Master Card, and Discover. Oh, and we also accept good 'ol CASH. And since
SOME people aren't as honest as OTHER people, we don't
accept personal checks. We also DO NOT accept AmEx or any card issued by Bank of America - cause we think they SUCK! But for your convenience, we
do have an ATM which does not discriminate like we do.
Reservations
Butter does not accept reservations for groups smaller
than 20 people. In the event that you're so stuffy that
you must eat at a restaurant that requires a reservation
you probably won't like Butter anyway - much less get
it.
Location
Butter is located at 354 11TH STREET, SAN FRANCISCO,
CA 94103 (our cross streets are FOLSOM & HARRISON)
in San Francisco's South Of Market District, in what
is frequently referred to as "The SOMA Club Corridor."
We are positioned in the middle of the block directly
across the street from The BuzzWorks Craft Beer Sports Tavern, and venerable S.F. nightspots; Slim's & The DNA Lounge, and one block north of SOMA Streat Food.
Driving Directions - Seriously, is there any point in having these typed out anymore? Please let us know! Yo, here's the deal. You're
trying to get to: 354
11TH STREET, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94103
From the South Bay: Take
US-101 North to San Francisco. Take the 9th St. exit
towards the Civic Center and Merge onto 9th Street.
Turn Left onto Harrison Street. Turn Right onto 11th
Street and we're halfway up the block on your left.
From the East Bay: Take
I-80 to the Bay Bridge and cross over the Bay to San
Francisco. Take the 9th St. exit towards the Civic Center
and merge onto 9th Street. Turn Left onto Harrison Street.
Turn Right onto 11th Street and we're halfway up the
block on your left.
From the North Bay: Get
yourself onto US 101 South and cross the Golden Gate
Bridge. Take the Lombard St. exit/US 101, which turns
into Richardson Avenue for a couple of blocks, but don't
sweat it, just keep going. Richardson then turns into
Lombard = no big deal, just keep cruising down Lombard
for about a mile. Take a right onto Van Ness Avenue
and head south down Van Ness for about 1.5 miles. Then
turn left on Fell Street and cross Market Street and
maneuver over to the right lane. Turn Right onto Harrison
and then turn right onto 11th Street and we're halfway
up the block on your left.
Parking
This is San Francisco, home of Uber and Lyft... 'nuff said. Or be ‘ole fashioned and hail a cab... the conversations are better. But generally, if you
get down here before 8:30PM you can find street parking... But parking your car in the dark alleys around here is a BAD idea on every level. If you do plan on
arriving after 8:30PM your best bet is the Costco Parking Garage for $10 all night just one block down. Please take precaution and store your valuables in your trunk.
Our Neighborhood Butter
is located in San Francisco's SOMA (South Of Market)
area. A trip to the 11th & Folsom corridor is a
trip to one of San Francisco's most lively neighborhoods.
By day, the streets are filled with industrial delivery
trucks mixed with dot comers (depending on the state
of the "New Economy") and by night our area
has become synonymous with nighttime fun. SOMA is also
home for a lot of folks, so please read the note at
the bottom of this page!

A word about respect
Please remember the 11th Street corridor isn't solely
a place for nighttime entertainment. Many people call
this neighborhood home. When you visit Butter, please
remember to show the same respect to our neighbors and
neighborhood, as you would expect others to show to
yours. |
